Security

How we protect what matters most.

Your financial documents, legal correspondence, and personal data are treated with the same discretion we bring to every aspect of your administrative life.

When you delegate sensitive work to a trusted partner, you deserve clarity about how that information is handled. This page explains the measures we take to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of your data — at every step of the engagement.

We do not take this lightly. The executives and entrepreneurs who work with us trust us with information that is irreplaceable. Our security infrastructure, workflows, and culture are built around protecting that trust.

Encryption

Swiss-grade encryption for all sensitive communications.

All email communications involving sensitive client information — financial documents, legal correspondence, tax filings, and personal data — are handled using end-to-end Swiss encryption standards.

Switzerland is recognized internationally for its rigorous data protection law (nDSG), independent judicial system, and political neutrality — providing a legal framework that protects your information far beyond standard EU or UK compliance requirements.

End-to-end encryption

Messages and attachments are encrypted from the moment they leave your device to the moment they arrive with your Butler — unreadable in transit.

Zero-access by default

Only your assigned Butler and the Senior Butler overseeing your account can access your communications. No advertising, no data mining, no sharing.

Multi-factor authentication

All internal team access to client communication systems requires multi-factor authentication. Credentials are rotated regularly and monitored.

Document Handling

Documents shared with Business Butlers are handled with strict protocols.

1

Secure Transmission

All documents should be sent via our secure encrypted channel, which your Butler will share during onboarding. We do not accept sensitive documents via unencrypted email or cloud links without access controls.

2

Minimal Handling Principle

Documents are only accessed by the team members directly involved in your case. We do not pass documents to unnecessary parties. Credentials and permissions are scoped to the task at hand.

3

Retention and Deletion

Documents are retained only as long as necessary to complete the service. Upon request or at the conclusion of an engagement, we can confirm deletion of your documents from our systems in line with applicable data protection law.

4

Third-Party Specialists

When we engage vetted specialists on your behalf — accountants, lawyers, translators — documents are shared only with explicit scope. We do not share more than is necessary for the specific task. All specialists operate under confidentiality agreements.

Access Controls

Who can see your information.

We maintain strict role-based access — no one accesses client data beyond their direct assignment.

1

Your assigned Butler only

Day-to-day access to your files, calendar, and communications is restricted to your primary Butler and the senior overseeing your plan tier.

2

No marketing use

Your data is never used for any marketing, advertising, analytics, or reporting purpose beyond what is strictly required to deliver your service.

3

Incident notification

In the unlikely event of a security incident affecting your data, you will be notified promptly with a clear description of what occurred and the steps taken.

4

Audit trail

Access to your documents and communication history is logged. Our Head of Security & Compliance reviews access logs regularly.

5

Right to erasure

You may request deletion of your personal data at any time. We will confirm deletion within the timeframes required under applicable data protection legislation.

6

Sarah Müller — Head of Security

All security and compliance matters are overseen by our Head of Security & Compliance, a dedicated senior Butler whose entire role is to protect client data.

Legal Compliance

We operate under applicable data protection law.

Depending on your country of residence and the services provided, our engagement with you may fall under GDPR (European Union), UK GDPR (United Kingdom), nDSG (Switzerland), or other national data protection regulations.

Our Privacy Policy outlines your rights as a data subject, the legal basis for processing your information, and how to exercise your rights. If you have questions that are not addressed in that document, your Butler can connect you with our compliance team directly.

We do not transfer personal data outside the countries where we operate without appropriate legal safeguards in place.
