Where our services involve coordinating with or referring clients to specialist professionals (including legal, tax, or financial advisors), those professionals are independent of Business Butlers. Any advice or services provided by referred professionals are governed by the separate engagement terms between you and those professionals.
3. Service Engagement
Formal engagement of our services requires a signed service agreement, which sets out the specific scope, duration, response commitments, and fees applicable to your engagement. These Terms apply to all engagements and supplement any specific engagement agreement. In the event of conflict, the specific engagement agreement prevails.
4. Client Obligations
To enable us to provide services effectively, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, complete, and timely information relevant to your engagement.
- Notify us promptly of any changes to your circumstances that affect the scope of services.
- Pay fees as agreed in your engagement agreement.
- Refrain from requesting services that fall outside our scope without prior agreement.
5. Fees and Payment
Fees are agreed individually at the commencement of each engagement and set out in your service agreement. Fees are typically structured on a subscription basis. Payment terms are specified in the engagement agreement. Late payment may result in suspension of services. We reserve the right to adjust fees at renewal, with reasonable notice provided in advance.
6. Confidentiality
We treat all client information as confidential. We do not disclose client information to third parties except where: (a) you have explicitly authorized us to do so (e.g., in the context of a specialist referral); (b) we are required to do so by law or regulatory authority; or (c) it is strictly necessary for the delivery of agreed services. This obligation survives termination of the engagement.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, design, layout, and graphics — is the property of Business Butlers and is protected by applicable intellectual property law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from this website without our express written permission.
8. Limitation of Liability

Either party may terminate a service engagement in accordance with the notice provisions set out in the engagement agreement. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to our services immediately if you materially breach these Terms or your engagement agreement.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable law. Specific jurisdictional provisions will be set out in your engagement agreement. Any disputes shall first be subject to good-faith negotiation before recourse to formal dispute resolution.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The date of the most recent revision is shown at the top of this page. Continued use of our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
